Audi small Hatches not coming to India
Audi India will not launch the small hatches like the Audi A1 in India.Audi is looking at different strategies. While the competitors BMW and Mercedes will introduce their small luxury hatch backs to India.Audi feels that the market in India is not matured enough for small luxury hatch back.
Audi India head Michael Perschke said that “ Our top down model strategy has been successful in India so far. We have successfully sold the top-end A8 stretched sedan and other high-end models to the Indian customers. But we have no plans to dilute our brand by launching smaller cars like the Audi A1 or similar models, even as the competition garners volumes with such offerings."

Toyota Prius 3 Coming In Summer

Toyota introduced in early January at the Detroit auto show in front of the new Prius. The third generation of the successful hybrid cars going in the summer and in Europe at the start.
The new generation of the Toyota hybrid cars will be another ten percent more fuel efficient. The Japanese have above all the weight and dimensions of the hybrid components gesenkt.Die technicians developed according to the company about 90 percent of the parts of the new hybrid drive, including the engine. The four-cylinder is now 1.8 liters in size and provides 72 kW/98 hp. At first glance, this growth is the general trend towards downsizing Although Toyota, however justified it with the possible lower speeds (downspeeding). This reduces the consumption, and the torque of the motor can be increased to accelerate the car rapidly. Like its predecessor, the unit operates at extremely economical Atkinson cycle.
The Atkinson cycle
In this variant of the Otto-working process, the intake valves only close when the piston according to the suction stroke is again moved upwardly. Characterized it pushes a portion of the fuel-air mixture sucked off again. The motor must therefore make less compression work, also increases the process efficiency at high speeds.
The downside: At low speeds, the Atkinson engine delivers very little torque. Toyota compensates for this disadvantage by the electric motor takes over the start-up and support the Nitro when accelerating. Also provides a variable valve timing for the intake valves close always the right time for the current operating status.
In total, the parts of the "Hybrid Synergy Drive" as Toyota calls its drive to build more compact and 20 percent lighter than before. The newly formed battery robs the trunk less space.

Much detailed work
In addition to the drive, many other details of the Prius help keep consumption as low as possible. The drag coefficient of the hatchback body is a mere 0.25. Solar cells in the roof provide power for the blower fan, so that the electrically operated air conditioning system has to work less. The heat of the exhaust gas, the engineers use for the engine after a cold start to heat up faster.
As a result of these efforts is an average fuel consumption on the American standard of 50 mpg (miles per gallon) to book. This is equivalent to 4.7 liters per 100 kilometers (the official values of Europe version should be different due to different measurement methods). By comparison, the predecessor came with a gallon only 46 liters far.

The system performance of the hybrid drive is 99 kW/134 hp. The driver can choose from four modes: standard, electric, Sports and Eco. In electric mode, the battery charge lasts only for approximately 1.6 km route.
