Honda Jazz is one of the best practical Hatch back in the country. But Jazz was not very well accepted in our market because of the high price and lack of diesel engine. Honda now officially discontinued the Jazz from India line up. Honda was already working on the next generation Jazz which was destined for 2014. Because of the strong competition Honda had to fast forward the plans. Next generation Honda Jazz will hit the production line from July this year onwards. We can expect the unveiling of Next generation Jazz in any of the major motor shows.

Next generation Jazz is based on an all new platform from Honda. This platform will be shared among next generation city and also the upcoming Urban SUV. Jazz will get a completely new design which is sporty and aggressive. Honda will bring the next generation Jazz in 2014 on India. It will be powered by the 1.2 L i-VTEC engine and the new 1.5 L i-DTEC diesel engine. Too make the pricing more competitive Honda is aiming 90 % Localization. So that Honda can price the Jazz aggressively against the rivals.

Chevrolet is all set to fight in the most competitive segments in India.Yesterday Chevrolet sail UVA launched.Premium Hatch back segment is one of the hottest segment in India.Most of the manufactures has tasted success here.Chevrolet introduced Sail UVA with competitive pricing.Two more products that arrives are Sail Sedan and Enjoy MPV.Like the Hatch back segment entry level sedan and MPV segment is also very hot.All the manufactures are present there.

Chevrolet sail sedan will be available in both petrol and diesel engines.Chevrolet enjoy also have the same diesel engine.For these three cars power output will be almost similar.Expect enjoy to have little more power than others.Because of the size and weight.Petrol and diesel option for Sail Sedan will be available from the launch.There will be no LPG or CNG options for sail sedan.Both Sail sedan and Enjoy MPV arrives on the 1st quarter.Chevrolet is also now focusing on Launching the Sail UVA in every part of India.

Mercedes Benz will launch the 2013 GL Class in May on India.Mercedes Benz unveiled the 2013 GL Class in New York Motor show last year.Mercedes Benz will first bring the GL Class to India by CBU Route.The assembly of the GL class starts after mid 2013.Mercedes will first launch the AMG Kitted GL Class with Limited numbers.After that the regular GL Class will roll out.Mercedes Benz GL Class is the most Luxurious SUV.GL Class occupies the S Class Position in SUV segment.Mercedes Benz GL class is a proper 7 Seater big SUV.

2013 Mercedes Benz GL Class take design inspirations from the smaller ML Class.But retains the rugid SUV Look.On the Interior also 2013 GL Class design follows the ML Class design.2013 Mercedes Benz GL Class is powered by 3.0 L turbo Diesel engine which makes 240 BHP @3600 RPM which is 30 BHP more than the old engine and 620 NM of torque.This engine is mated to a 7 speed automatic transmission.Mercedes has given so many features to improve the fuel efficiency of GL class.This engine power GL Class from 0-100 in 8.5 seconds and top speed of 210 Kmph.

Hyundai is working on the development of Next generation Sonata.Hyundai American CEO John Krafcik Said that the styling of the next generation Sonata is done and it is an evolving design.Next generation Hyundai Models will get the new styling design which is storm edge design.First debuted on the new generation Santa Fe.Hyundai Sonata was one of the first few models in Hyundai Line up to get the Fluidic design.Hyundai engineers are working on Improving fuel efficiency of Sonata.Adding Start-stop system and others features to improve efficiency more.

Next Generation Sonata get Day Time LED Running Lamps.On the interior Hyundai is working on improving the feature list.Hyundai will introduce more innovative features in Sonata.Hyundai Sonata doesn’t have a diesel engine now.But we can hope Hyundai is also developing a new Engine for Sonata.In India Sonata is not selling much because of the lack of a diesel engine.

Hyundai will introduce the Sonata first to the international markets like Korea and USA.Then Europe and Asia.We can expect the next generation Sonata to arrive faster to India.Hyundai will introduce the Sonata early next year and we can expect the India Launch by the end of 2014.

Volvo is looking to refresh the sedan range in 2013.Volvo global head of sales and marketing Doug Speck told auto news that Volvo sedans will get a major refreshment next year.Volvo will refresh S60 mid size sedan and the Volvo S 80 sedan.Both the sedans will be launch in 2013.After the sedan launch Volvo will launch an all new XC90 in 2014.Volvo XC90 is oldest model in Volvo range which is launched in 2002.Volvo XC90 is the first model in Volvo range to use the Volvo scalable Platform Architecture.Volvo is downsizing engines to get maximum fuel efficiency.Volvo is developing a all new four cylinder engine which is high on power using the Forced induction technologies.We can expect the sedan range to hit India in 2014.
