JAGUAR UNVEILS THE XF 2 2 D
Jaguar has unveiled the 2013 Jaguar XF 2.2 D, the only diesel variant that is available, in the otherwise, petrol dominated range of the XF.
The 2.2 D variant will be available at a relatively bargain price as compared to its omnipresent rivals, courtesy of the German triumvirate i.e Audi, BMW, Mercedes.
With the vast majority of XFs being sold to company car drivers, the powertrain is a crucial addition, as it allows Jaguar to compete with small diesels such as Audi’s A6 2.0 TDI, BMW’s 520d and the Mercedes E220 CDI.
As far as performance is concerned, one doesnt need to dwell to deep into the spec sheet, as it develops a modest 188bhp of brute force accompanied in unison by 450Nm of twist force.
Overall, a tempting option which can and will lock horns with the best in the market.
The new cat will be priced at 45.7 Lakhs, ex-showroom, Chennai.
