Sebastian Vettel Disqualified from Qualifying for the 2012 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
Sebastian Vettel disqualified from the qualifying position 3 for the start of 2012 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.Vettel stopped his red bull on the way back to the pits in Q3.Vettel punished for breaking the article 6.6.2 of the FIA Formula one Technical regulations.which states that the car must returns to the pits under its own power.Vettel red bull didn’t have enough fuel left in the tank to take samples for FIA.There was long meeting of Red Bull and Renault to the FIA.But Finally after examine the car.FIA given the penalty for Vettel.
Last month Vettel was unbeatable with 4 straight race wins.This weekend never started well for Vettel.Free practice 3 vettel had brake problems and only run very few laps.In Q1 and Q2 we never saw the confident vettel.He was always looking for more.In Q1 he kissed the barrier and luckily he hadnt done any damage.His championship rivals Alonso starts from 6th position after Vettel penalty.This will be quite a relief for Alonso.Only on Qualifying Alonso cannot touch vettel.But in Race pace Ferrari is very strong.Better than Red Bull and McLarens.This will be a great opportunity for Alonso to pull back the 13 point lead of Vettel.We could see a great race on sunday.
